I think you should handle this situation with a lot of style...launch 
the solos to someone else and then leave the stage, no 
explanations...Then get back on stage when you've done your business ;-) 
By the way a night I've seen a guitar player with a bucket next to him, 
because he was kind of sick-drunk and he was feeling like he was about 
to puke in a moment.
